I recently started diagramming for a second level Greek course at my seminary. I really love the Logos Diagramming feature, but there is one area where it seems to be lacking. It would be great if there was some way to create notes on specific words to provide parsing and notes on the functional usage of the particular words in context. Most people who do Diagramming would utilize this feature, as the point of diagramming is to figure out the function of each word and phrase in the sentence.

The way that I have had to do it currently is to finish my diagramming (taking mental notes) and then export to a PDF and create the notes in Adobe PDF Reader. I don't know if there is a way to create a note system that would export with the Diagramming, but that would be really nice.

Here is a screenshot of what I am talking about. (Please don't mind my diagramming mistakes)

This is the process I have come to use with notes and exegetical notes, would prefer to see the ability to have pop-ups with in the diagram for notes on specific words, and to have an easier process to place notes from Word into the diagram. Presently one is non-existent, the other is just a pain.

Wow!  This is good stuff.  I love to read diagrams (I‘m weird like that๐Ÿ˜).

I have an entire diagram of the GNT from a DTS grad., but cannot copy-paste very well into Word or PowerPoint—So is basically useless for teaching.

If I might ask, what diagramming module are y’all using from Logos?  If you have a link I would like to acquire this myself.

Well, I was attempting to post a diagram of Acts 22.16 that I was recently working on—but, again, I cannot get it to paste over.  Excellent example of what I was talking about above.  Any links to diagram modules would be appreciated when y’all have time.

Thanks much!

If I post one in the forums I use "ctrl-print screen, then paste into paint, save as pgn, then post here- practice with it you'll find it works fine.

You can save any PDF of diagrams to pgn, or jpg- works well also

Puddin', the Sentence Diagram feature is available in the Bronze feature set https://www.logos.com/product/165934/logos-8-bronze-feature-upgrade and the Full feature set https://www.logos.com/product/165935/logos-8-full-feature-upgrade Depending on what you've already purchased you may already own it. Have a look in your Logos under the Docs menu / New to see if you have it. Hope that helps!

Ok, great.  Will look for these.  I currently have the NT diagrammed by William Ramey (http://www.inthebeginning.org/ntgreek/diagrams.htm).

But, as stated above, I cannot copy-paste these ๐Ÿ˜ค.

Thanks Gents!

You have to convert your PDF to PGN or JPG file- open PDF -file- save as- choose JPG or PGN it will save whole file- then you'll be able to copy and paste.

Wow—Just saw this.  Will jump in this ASAP (I have been attempting to figure out how to paste this ever since I got it).

Thank you!
