When I search the library in the Faithlife eBooks app, sometimes after I've selected a book, then closed it, then go back to the library to re-open it, the book disappears from the list, and re-searching the library does not successfully load the book (this happens on an iPhone XS and iPad Pro).

Is there something I can do to "refresh" the library?

The command "rebuild index" does this, but I don't think your issue is related. Screenshots of this might help.

Here's a screenshot. when I search, Butler's Daily Bible Reading vol 1 should be appearing. It appeared earlier when I previously searched and opened the book. Now that I've closed the book and gone back to the library to re-search for the book, it is gone.

It does this with a different book on my iPad. It basically can happen with any random title.

Just thinking out loud here: is Butler's Daily Bible Reading vol 1 downloaded and the other three volumes aren't or vice versa? Does downloading one of those to the device change the search results, i.e. removes this one, too?

I am sorry to hear that you have been having this problem. 

Please do try entering “rebuild index” in the “Enter passage or search” field at the top of the Home Page.

If you still need further help after doing this, please send in your logs from the Ebooks App.

Please do the following:

  1. Open the app.
  2. Tap the  Menu icon.
  3. Tap  Help.
  4. Press "Report a Problem"

A pre-addressed email will open with a log file attached automatically. Press "Send" to send your report. A technician will reply as soon as possible.

None are downloaded. All streamed.
