BUG viewing scripture of the day media

for the last few weeks now, I am not sure when it started, but it has been a while. at the home screen, when I click the scripture of the day, it opens up to a study layout with the favorite bible, study bible, notes, and the media window.

however, the media window stays empty and doesn't show the media of the media/image.  further, the image on the home page that is there is very, VERY low resolution, and very pixilated.

Part of my morning devotions to open this every single day. I am missing it now.
ALSO: it does this on my laptop, my home office desktop, and my church office laptop.

Hi Brent

I can confirm this is the same for me MacOS10.14.4 and Logos 8.5 Beta 1

There have been a few issues with the Media penal recently; perhaps this is anther instance of its misbehaviour.

I'm wondering how long it will take to remedy this bug.  I really enjoy and utilize the excellent slides that are part of the media tool. I'm hoping it is soon.

I've been using a workaround. I look to see what the verse of the day is. Then open the media tool by itself. Enter the verse and then filter the results for Verse of the Day under Media Type.

This only works if the layout that is open when clicking on the VoD is not opened.
