Notes not Working in Web App

I guess this is just me since I've haven't' seen any other post about it, but it keeps happening so I thought I would ask: What is causing Notes not to work in my browser? A few minutes after loading the web app, the Notes tab grays out and the message at the bottom says "Error occurred. Unable to load notes.

I switched from my main browser, Chrome, to IE, and thought I had solved the issue, but it is now doing it on both. Also, when I try to refresh the page, Notes are very slow to load (about 30 sec.) Searching is slow too. Then, after a few minutes, it seems to give up and gray out and display y that error message.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Perhaps your internet connection? Adblocker? Firewall? Anti-Virus?  Too many unknowns I think.
