"All Passages" -- should not it  only be a choice in a Bible Searchand NOT in a Basic Search ?

Why is it populating when I try to run a Basic Search?

I had just expected to be able to choose "All Resources" my collections

as in L7:

Instead of giving a list of collections my L8 is providing the same choices found in Bible Searchs

eg. The instruction text reads - "Type a reference from: Bibles" ... etc

It is hindering me from selecting a [recently created] search collection that I wish to use.

I do not know what I may have done to create this faulty choice.

I am Running the  latest Beta in Window 10

Puzzled

ADDED LATER

If I click on "Collection_Theology" it disappears to this:

But as soon as I click on "All Resources" and make a choice [any choice] the "All Passages" appears again

Eventually after trying the same Search in Verbum I was able to type the word: "Adoption" into the Search Window.

And then I was able to do it in the Beta version.

It may have been a Internet issue?

BUT the question still remains: "Why is  "All Passages" offered/substituted in a Basic Search when I am trying to search within Collections?

[or have I misunderstood something?]

Thanks in advance

It means that some books in the Theology collection have a Bible index, so you can search for words as you would in a bible. But others have a different index, so you can search a Lexicon within Greek GK number, TDNT number, Strong's number.

It shouldn't hinder you as long as you ignore All Passages and select the collection from the Resource dropdown.

Thank You Dave

I had not considered that

ignore All Passages and select the collection from the Resource dropdown.

That WAS the earlier problem -- it would not show any of the collections.

Instead I was stuck with a requestor that was ONLY offering "Biblical" options etc

Thanks

"Passage" doesn't only refer to Bible verses.

The option is provided to allow you to filter what references you want to search on. The popup will indicate the type of references that are valid for the resources you have selected.

If you type anything into the Search box after clicking the resource dropdown, it will limit the available resources/collections until you click the x to clear the box.
