I am constantly checking various bible versions as I note-take and study so,

I would love to see a drop-down list of favorite bibles where the current bible version is listed on the top menu-bar.

Currently my go to is "BibleHub.com" for quick version comparisons, then I go back to L8M.

Have you tried linking multiple tabs?  Each tab can be split in order to show two Bibles simultaneously and all Bibles can be linked to stay in sync. A simple swipe from side to side will move between tabs. I would have two or three tabs of Bibles and one tab for notes…

Alternatively you could have the text comparison tool open in a tab. The biggest problem with this is the lack of linking so you’ll have enter the reference, but I guess you’re already doing that!

I have not no. One of my favorite features is the page swiping rather than other apps that use split screens. I will figure out how to do that.

UPDATE: That's a pretty good work around and I will use it. But, drop down list would be much better than having to setup multiple tabs, splits and bibles every time. Also, when the windows are split, the bible version no longer is displayed so you don't know what your looking at so isn't the most helpful.

Thx for the reply and the suggestions.

Robert J.:

You can save your setup as a named layout. The layouts menu is at the bottom left of the tabs screen (same icon as on desktop). If you want to update (or rename or delete) a saved layout, swipe left on the name.

There is no difference whether the screen is split or not. The difference is whether the toolbar is being displayed (it will hide as soon as you start scrolling down). To redisplay the toolbar, simply tap in the text or scroll up enough to let inertial scrolling continue after you take your finger off the screen.

Thx Reuben for the reply

1. The layout is another good workaround I will try it out.

2. IC! the bible versions are viewable but only in portrait, not landscape orientation.

I am always working in landscape, that's why I didn't catch it. It's no problem to rotate the iPad though to get the version so thx.
