I love the highlighting system in L4. I think it is much better and certainly easier than in L3. But I find that I am unable to erase some highlights. Specifically, I have some words that have a yellow highlight applied with a green box around them. I am not really sure why they are highlighted, but the ERASE button at the top of the highlighting pane does not touch it. Any thoughts? Is it coming from somewhere else?

Let me add that there is no search window open

Hi Joseph

It could be that you have a visual filter setup which is causing the highlight.

To check you can click on the Visual Filter button (three intersecting circles), scroll down to the bottom and see if there are any enabled as per below:

If you do have any visual filters selected, open them and see whether they are responsible for the highlighting (you can do this from the file menu)

Please let us know if this helps.

Graham
