Is there a way to get better Mac voices (than what comes pre-equipped on the Mac)? Any that any of you recommend?

When I search my entire library, I see topics as well.  When I search a subset of my library, such as resources that I have tagged as BibleDictionary, I don't.  Why is that?

I don't know what the reason for the underlying design decision is/was, but that's how the feature is designed. You only see the topics section in Basic search when you're searching entire library.

Any chance of revisiting the underlying design decision?  Or is that beyond the mandate of the Mac dev team?

Of the built-in voices, Alex is probably the most tolerable. Most of the rest aren't very good.

I know nothing about this company, but they appear to sell additional voices:

I can mention the suggestion to the powers-that-be.

It always showed up no matter which resources you were searching until sometime in February (that's when the code was changed). I suspect it was changed in response to feedback because constrained searches are constrained for a reason, and the section probably was annoying and/or frustrating users who weren't doing fairly broad searches.

They have also added Prayer Lists. I like the fact that I can have multiple Prayer Lists displayed.

Joe,

Where can I find reading out aloud? Because I can't.
