SUGGESTION: Resources on translation

I searched for books on translation theory to illustrate the relationship between the linguistic tools in Verbum and the tools provided - from words to pragmatics. Despite the importance for understanding what the tools mean, I found next to nothing ... and that nothing was SIL which is a bit too specialized.  Therefore I strongly suggest that 

  • Baker, Mona. In Other Words: A Coursebook on Translation. New York, NY: Routledge. 2011.

be added to FL. The start of the TOC

There are others in the forums who likely know additional resources. Please add them.

In English the word "deep" has about 16 definitions.  Yes, We need a guide on translation.
