A sincere plea for Christian grace: I know this thread can go awry in a hundered different directions. I am only posting it for the sake of the few users who may not know or remember the details of the discount but are able to benefit from it. Everybody else can just rejoice others have this opportunity.

Just a "heads-up" reminder:

If you happen to be a registered Zondervan Pradis user you could be eligible for a 40% discount on Zondervan's titles in the Logos format. But you must act SOON!

The pertinent part:
"Discounts Expire Soon
The discount only applies for Pradis users who have purchased their books before January 1, 2010. These discounts expire on June 30, 2010, so you need to act now to get the discount. It’s in your best interest to apply the discount to as many titles as possible before they expire. If you’re a Pradis user, give us a call right away to get 40% off!" (phone numbers in the article)

Here is the long version:

I would be thrilled to know if anyone reading this thread actually uses the "Pradis" discount to save on some Zondervan titles in Logos, If you do so, please post a comment letting me know.

Also, I just bumped the thread back up for exposure. I hope somebody saves a few bucks.

I sure did use it, and it saved me a lot of money, I am thankful for the discount, but I wish Zondervan would have been more helpful.

Logos on the other hand was first class all the way!

In Christ,

Jim

Yes, I will be using mine, but I will be waiting another week to place my order once I figure out just exactly which resources I really want. It's on my calendar. Thanks for the reminder!

By the way, I created another thread asking for help deciding which resources to purchase. Help with the other thread would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

I used it and saved quite a bit. I'm thankful to have Zondervan titles in Logos especially EBC.

I used the upgrade for the entire bundle (even though I only had two of the titles in Pradis) and am very happy with it.

When I first read the details of the Pradis discount I thought I was not qualified to buy the whole bundle. Through the encouragement of Joe Miller and the help of a very gracious friend at Logos, I was able to buy the complete bundle using my discount. Had it not been for the proactive intervention, I would not have bought them.  (Thanks guys!)

As I said in the other related thread. It takes a person on the other end of the phone to help apply this discount. Don't think you can go online at 11:50 pm tonight and save the 40%. Call before they close. (Also, today is Wednesday......maybe church services will hasten the deadline.)

Just a few more hours left = $78 for the 12 Volume Expositors Bible Commentary if you owned any Pradis product.

I have a question.

I am a long time Libronix user. I also had Pradis 6, along with others, but my laptop crashed and some of my book files were at the Pradis server. I didn't back them all up. Since all the rights have been given to logos can I get those files back if I show proof of a purchase? I have contacted Zondervan but they keep saying contact Logos but I think they can prove I have purchased these book files. Please advise.

Are you trying to recover Pradis format books?  Logos does not host any Pradis files on their servers. The Zondervan books Logos hosts are in Logos formats only.

I don't believe Zondervan gave any rights to Logos outside of licensing the publication in Logos format. Zondervan required a fee for Pradis users to obtain the Logos versions of their books. I do not know if Zondervan keeps or provides access to Pradis book files you purchased from them. I hope so.
