Paul:

Changing to Faithlife Bible Software would end the debate on how to pronounce Logos Bible Software:

LOW-goess     or    LAH-gahss

Surly this must wait until the jury come in on Tomato and Potato (or even graaass)?

But let's not call the whole thing off.

Then we could begin arguing over whether or not the L in FaithLife should be capitalized, since we began abreviating it FL.Wink

And a hyphen to be proper

All this talk of FL reminds me of the Apostles Paul's Testimony. Might make a good topic for the next FaithlifeTV documenatry project.

DIsciple II:
An alignment of branding would potentially strength the Faithlife brand and eliminate confusion of potential customers who are not familiar with the relationship and brands history while at the same time the FL brand has been in place long enough now to be entrenched in the thought of long term customers that a brand change away from Logos is potentially not a big deal for them now.

I still see customers new and old referring to Faithlife as Logos in the forums all the time.

Thanks to FL for including Carta and a Hebrew audio bible in Logos 9!

It's already been accurately prophesied, Oct 26, 2020.

However ... typically there are signs (and wondering) that precedes that great and wondering day:

- Missing star-people that disappear for weeks, only to innocently return, as if ... well, they've just been 'busy' (BTW, where's Dave).

- The FL sites starting getting screwy ... can't log-on (Friday), strange data dumps (this morning), and server time-outs (just now).

This all points to ....

For a while, we were down to Graham, MJ, Dave, and Mr Binks. Dave was a veritable expertise-engine, pushing the struggling Logosian train.

But given our forum prophet is still accurate today (it's not yet 10am), we have an interesting conumdrum from the Nobel Prize arena ... how people 'bid' (buy relative to a price).  Should they grab last minute L8 bargains? Bottom-fish the L9 collections? Or just wait for 2021's free engine?

One of the Nobel winners (economics) offers a clue:

"Mr. Wilson 'was the first to create a framework' for auctions of items with a common valueaccording to the prize committee. In his work, he explained that bidders will offer less than they think the object or service is worth because they are afraid of overpaying — the winner’s curse — even more acutely when they are at an information disadvantage." (from NYT).

And since FL is the king of information-disadvantage ... well, the bidding (price vs value) soon begins.

"God will save his fallen angels and their broken wings He'll mend."

Clicking Star Gold star for those MVPs that have passed. shows another MVP (Many Volunteer Posts) who is missing from human body. Crying

Apologies for my metallic body (silver hair, gold teeth, lead ...) providing proof that getting older has its opportunities, some of them are pleasant. (spirit willing, but body weak too many days over past few months).

That seems to be happening on Logos.com this morning, but it could be a gaslighting. Verbum.com looks usual.

Logos.com is blank for me this morning. Was OK yesterday evening.

Also, for a couple of weeks, if you go to logos.com/9 it is a blank page. If you replace that with another, higher number like "10" it gives you an error page.

We are very very close, friends.
