So, I am interested in possibly using an FSB video in a power point. Is there a way to either save the video to my computer so I can then insert it into the presentation, or can it be downloaded from somewhere, or exported?
If you download it through the mobile app, you can then pick it from the device's file system.
Jordan, I also asked here in the forums for help exporting one of the FL videos for use in a powerpoint presentation a few months back. One of the helpful FL devs gave me a link to download it. I'm sure they'll help you in the same way.
Alternately, if you have access to a video screengrab utility (I use Camtasia these days), you can DIY provided you satisfy all of the legal requirements for using FL's copyrighted stuff.
Thanks for the suggestions. The first one of downloading it on my phone and then finding the file is a bit more complicated than I'm willing to tackle this week, but I'll keep it in mind for the future. Unfortunately, being a holiday weekend in the US I'm not sure I'd be able to get anyone before tomorrow. But I'll be okay this time around.
From what I can see, Camtasia is geared towards producing content, which is probably why it's so expensive. Seems like it grabs video in a proprietary format and then you have to export it through their proprietary video-editing (Adobe-like) software.
It's like using a wrench when a screwdriver is what's needed.
There are lots of free screengrab utilities that can do the simple job of capturing images or videos from your screen. Nimbus has a chrome extension that will do this. ShareX is open source software that can do this too.
P.S. Something more robust than simply recording your screen and outputting a file, the way Nimbus and ShareX do, would be OBS Studio - also free open source software.
I've been using this app for this purpose:

With the optional wifi plugin, you can send the files to a local computer in the same network.
