'download now' unresponsive

Hi,

I'm trying to access books that I owns but have not yet downloaded to my Windows 10 PC. No matter how many times I press 'download now' or 'sync' the resource does not appear. Please advise what I'm doing wrong.

Please supply some logs. Reproduce the above, press Download now, close Logos and upload the compressed log folder.

Dave's suggestion may be necessary to diagnose. However, you should first check your settings to see when you have downloads enabled. If you are trying outside of the window you selected, it will not work (even when using download now).

Download Now means exactly that - irrespective of normal download windows, or Auto Start Download = NO. I just tried it.

By "what did you try," I meant specifically did you already have hours set for an off time or did you change them to test? If the latter, did you restart the app after making the change (and before running "download now")? 

I will attempt to test now.

EDIT: I see that it is working now, but was this not an issue?

Yes, I understand and they are needed. I am a bit confused by the commands and behavior. Actually, I didn't notice that you used (and I repeated) "Download Now." Is that a new command? I know that a number of users have had issues where they were unable to update resources, even with a manual attempt, when they tried outside of their window. When I just checked now, however, that wasn't a problem for me.

Hi Dave,

Sorry for the slow response, I've been on the road a few days.

When i restarted the app the titles were downloaded. I have tried to replicate the problem with 2 other titles and it worked fine. The difference I noticed was that, when it worked correctly a yellow ribbon/banner appears momentarily saying something like 'your library is being updated' (sorry i didn't note the exact text) - this did not appear before.

I attach the logs as requested, but in this session it worked fine.

There are no download errors, so it looks as though the issue has been resolved.
