I was wondering what happened to my 1977 NASB. I saw an updated NASB in my Logos last night, but I cannot tell what edition it is, as nothing is noted in the information panel. Was the 77' done away with and a newer version put in place? If it was revised with a newer version, how do I get my 77' back?

One other user asked me about this as well.

It's still the 1977 NASB. We simply fixed some typos (hence the update).

Was there a title change for your edition? We didn't update any resource metadata (i.e. the title of the Bible) so I'm curious about what led you to believe it was removed/changed? I'd like to get that confusion eliminated if possible.

I thought it changed because of a different color. The old was green, the new is red. However, with the old one, I believe there was information in the description stating it is the 77' edition. I did not see it in the updated edition. And because we are now in the year 2020, I thought that it was the 20' edition that took over the 77' and simply just doing away with it.

Most resources don't update that way. When a new "edition" comes out, you would have to purchase a new resource. That is the case for the NASB. In some cases, however, the PUBLISHER updates what they consider "the same resource." The ESV, for example, has had a number of revisions since it was first published, but each revision is considered "the same resource." In that case, the resource DOES get updated.

Updates can be confusing! In any case, you still have the same 1977 resource.

I can't speak on the information panel. That sounds weird. There should be, however, "front material" which will tell you publication info. If you have "bible text only" selected, however, that info will be hidden... which may be part of your confusion.
