These books are all Protestant in orientation and are useful as introductions or as references on the structure of the lectionary.

Word of God, Word of Life: Understanding the Three-Year Lectionaries by Gail Ramshaw note all of Gail Ramshaw's works are worth having in Logos

The Lectionary, Its Sources and History by Jules Leon Baudaot This is an out of copyright book that should be cheap to produce.

Scripture and Memory: The Ecumenical Hermeneutic of the Three-Year Lectionaries by Fritz West 

Orthodox Bishop Hilarion Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."
