Hi there and thank for your help.
Lets say I have not prioritised only my Top Bibles and nothing else ... in what order will Logos prioritise my library, meaning, what TYPE of book will follow my favourite Bibles? Lexicons, Commentaries and so on. Or, how will Logos handle it? (My question is not how it will prioritise my dictionaries, commentaries and so on.)
Thanks.
Hi Deon
I’m not really sure what question you are asking / what is behind the question.
Prioritization determines how, for example, resources appears in Guides and in the Context menu. It doesn’t affect, for example, the order resources appears in searches.
If helpful - default prioritistation is shown at https://wiki.logos.com/Default_prioritisation

Library shows resources from sorting/grouping selection(s): e.g. By Title (across all Types). Faithlife has a default prioritization order that is used in Passage Guides, &c. after any prioritized resource(s) for that section:

Thanks for your replies.
Apologies if my question is not clear.
Does Logos have a sort of default list: Bibles, Commentaries, Dictionaries, Lexicon and so on if I DO NOT have anything else except Bible prioritised?
What influence does the order of my Preferred Prioritisation have on the layout of my searches? Or does it not have an influence?
My current order is:
Is this a good order? Or, does it not really matter?
Once again, apologies if my question doesn't make sense.

Yes. Curious about your opinion of Logos Wiki page posted earlier by Graham => https://wiki.logos.com/Default_prioritisation ?

Is this a good order?
Logos Wiki includes Prioritizing : LT Prioritize Resources + VT Prioritize Resources
My purchased library has prioritization order (complex from modifying priorities as they appeared in various aspects over 10 years):
FYI: lesson learned from years ago is using one application to modify prioritization order (having more than one libraries open in different installations to prioritize at the same time has sync surprises).
Logos has default prioritization of resources that you do not prioritize, and will ensure there are no conflicts e.g. if you expect a Bible, you won't get a commentary. If you expect a bible dictionary, you won't get a language dictionary e.g. Merriam-Webster.

I suggest:
Put English Bibles first!
Lexicons (type:lexicon) often have "Dictionary" in their title, so group them by language. Greek Lexicons for OT will have LXX or Septuagint in their title.

Thank you, Gentlemen.
You helped me a lot. Thanks for time & effort in advising.
Dave Hooton: Bibles (type:bible) English Bibles Greek Bibles Hebrew Bibles Lexicons (type:lexicon) Greek (NT) Greek (OT) Hebrew Bible Dictionaries (type:encyclopedia) General Dictionaries (type:dictionary) e.g. Merriam-Webster, Concise Oxford Commentaries
Bibles (type:bible)
Now I understand my Lexicons & Dictionaries are messed up. Bible Dictionaries are type:encyclopaedia. Thanks for putting this right for me.
Dave Hooton: Put English Bibles first!
To quote Karl Barth: NEIN!
However, your first prioritized Bible should be one that has a reverse interlinear. And since there are no Afrikaans/Dutch/... Bibles that have a RI I will agree that you should give higher priority to an English Bible.
