I'm sure that for beginning students it might be helpful to know that, say, 'OT' stands for "Old Testament" or 'v' stands for "verse"... but how long is this information useful to a person? Maybe their first two weeks of Bible college or seminary? Aside from that, it seems like useless functionality to have it copied and pasted along with other citation information.

Please give users the option to omit that material from the copy/paste functionality. As it currently stands, we can choose to not copy footnotes and citations or we can choose to copy footnotes and citations AND the abbreviation explainers.

It's really cumbersome and should be unnecessary to have to go through my note file and remove this sort of stuff (actual example):

OT OT Old Testament

vv. vv. verses

vv. vv. verses

v. v. verse

v. v. verse

vv. vv. verses

vv. vv. verses

v. v. verse
