It will allow current users who have both programs to consolidate all their resources in Logos.

It will allow Faithlife to publish quite a few resources they did not have a license to publish before. That means a lot of new content coming to Logos and, for a price, to its users.

Potentially. They will have to be purchased.

I'll assume you're referring to Logos users who didn't have any Wordsearch resources, since Logos users with Wordsearch resources benefit in the same way as other Wordsearch users in that they get their licenses moved to Logos free of charge.

Here are a few benefits for the Logos user with no Wordsearch content:

  1. Third-party and public domain content Wordsearch had that Logos didn't will be available in the Logos catalog.
  2. The full B&H catalog will be coming to Logos mostly if not entirely as Logos editions (rather than Faithlife Ebooks).
  3. We'll gain economic efficiencies that should allow us to increase our investment in Logos and improve it faster than we otherwise could.
  4. That economic strength also means a safer and more secure place for users to invest their time and money in building a library, creating content, and learning how to use Logos's features.

There are probably others, but those four come to mind right away.

How about "Wordsearch had a lesson maker so there will be more pressure on Faithlife to expand the sermon/homily tool to truly support lessons"? Coffee Geeked
