Resources used to be duplicated in the conversion from FLEB to Logos format, however, I just noticed that "Cold-Case Christianity" was updated to a Logos Research Edition without creating a duplicate resource. This is excellent. The reading progress was preserved. I can't tell about notes, since I don't have any in this book, but I guess someone would have already complained if notes had been lost.
I'm very happy about the new process. It will prevent cluttering the library (at least if it is the standard process from now on, and not just a special case for this one book.)

The new Notes system (introduced in Logos 8) is much more effective at preserving notes and highlights across resource updates. (This is generally no longer a concern, and why we more commonly update resources in-place now.)
good news!

Cool! This process preserves tags, too. Thanks, Faithlife. I had previously been copying my tags over from the eBook edition and then hiding it whenever I noticed such a duplicate in my library.
