When I go to "About Logos" I see that my version is outdated.
When I select "Get Logos 9" my browser opens, I get what looks like an installer, (LogosMacDMG or some such thing).
I launch this installer – it seems to be doing what it typically does.
I relaunch Logos only to find my version is still the expired version.
Similarly, when I see "Looking to install Logos 9" on the Logos website and follow the link therein, it takes me to a link to download Logos 8.
Any tips?

Suggest purchasing Logos 9 Basic followed by updating in Logos Application OR visiting Install page => https://www.logos.com/install

So this is not an "automatic" update to a pre-existing version – but must instead be purchased?
And why would a link that promises me an installation of Logos 9 take me instead to Logos 8?
When I see a link that says "Looking to install Logos 9" and I follow it – I expect (for good reason) that it will be the place at which I may initiate the installation of Logos 9 rather than Logos 8.
While I appreciate your efforts, the link you provided brings me to a page that says "How to Install Logos 8 Bible Software"!
Dr. John W. Gibson:So this is not an "automatic" update – but must instead be purchased?
License for Logos 9 must be purchased: Free options are Logos 9 Basic & Verbum 9 Basic
Humanly suspect some customers have older computers that cannot run Logos 9, which needs macOS 10.14 Mojave or Newer:

Concur puzzling: from user perspective, web page for installation should show link => https://www.logos.com/basic along with Logos 8 (when user account does not have Logos 9 software license)
Thanks again for your efforts.
The entire process is somewhat odd: having to "purchase" something that is free.
But I went ahead and purchased it, followed the instructions, relaunched – only to find the outdated version (8 something or another) staring at me in all its outdated glory!
I think I'm just going to jump ship here. For me this serves as a reminder about why I pretty much never use Logos.
I am sorry to hear that you have been having so much difficulty, John

Thank you kindly, but I've honestly had it with this software. I'm just going to uninstall it and search for something a little less bloated and a little more user-friendly
If you change your mind, we'd be glad to help.
