This is a good deal. I have version 3, which includes everything in this collection, as well as the Modern Catholic Encyclopedia, Worship Music: A Concise Dictionary, and the NRSV (which most people already have, I suspect), and costs about $50 more. I think it's quite worth shelling out the extra $50 for the extras, particularly the Modern Catholic Encyclopedia. But the dictionaries that come with both collections are fantastic, and the Collegeville Bible Commentary is also very worth having, and to get them for just $75 is a steal.
For full disclosure, there is actually a version 3.0 of the Collegeville Reference Library sold by Logos:

It's not on sale for 50% off, but it's $124.95. If you get the 2.0 version on sale you can also then upgrade to this for $49.95. All the info is on this web page.
If you get the 2.0 version on sale you can also then upgrade to this for $49.95.
Buying 2.0 for $75 and upgrading for $49.95 would cost $124.95, which is precisely the same price as Version 3, so there wouldn't be any point in doing that.
You are right, I was just trying to provide full disclosure to all the info relevant to this resource. I for one hate finding out I bought an old version of software, even if on a deal, when something newer exists. The OP didn't mention there has been a 3.0 version of this resource out for quite some time, which is likely why this 2.0 one is being sold fire-sale to get it off the shelves...
Version 2.0 has been on clearance for a long time. I picked it up many months ago. It is an outstanding collection, though, and well worth the money. Why not get Version 2.0 and see if you like it? If you later want the additional 2 books, there is no extra cost (over the current cost of Version 3.0) to do so. I have been satisfied with Version 2.0.
