Should I stop expecting something every other Monday and just check the forums obsessively for more frequent but irregularly spaced updates?

I think that you are probably correct to expect that things will be more irregular now, as we continue in the Beta phase. As to how frequent they may be, who knows?

I am guessing we can expect a new beta today because the beta 3 release notes are now buried in the third page of the forum instead of the at the top of the first page.
I have also been wondering about the frequency of releases, it seems it can be expected once a week now, with an occassional release sooner than once a week if certain features need a quicker fix or tweak.
Is that a good assumption Cameron?

You know what bugs me?
Omniscient developers!
Cameron, I just love your dry humour. You must have Scottish ancestry.
Alan Macgregor:You must have Scottish ancestry.
Roughly how many beta cycles are we looking at Cameron? I want to make sure I have my end of things in place--I want to do my Snow Leopard update before then.

7 is the number of completion, so... four more betas.
7 as in : 7 Crowns : 7 Seals : 7 Lamp Stands ?
I would say that there will be enough. Certainly some will say "too few", but I strongly doubt that a great number will say "too many".

Well 7 is biblical and enough sounds like Dayenu. So it means we probably just need to let these guys go code.
After Beta, wonder how many release candidates ?
With Mac and PC beta's leap frogging releases => http://wiki.logos.com/The_Logos_4_Beta_Program , wonder about Logos 4.1 becoming initial release candidate for Mac ? (perhaps concurrent with PC 4.1 release candidate)

I guess I was right after all, at least for now, it really does seem like the beta releases are coming out every week. I think its happened enough times in a row now that we can expect weekly updates. We all know that it doesn't mean that there won't be an occasional delay though, because setbacks can always happen, but its nice to know things have been stepped up a bit, or at least that we get to taste the progress quicker than the older two week cycle.
We love you mac developers, even if you can't outright commit to a certain release schedule, we understand you don't want to set false expectations, but I suppose you can't stop us from speculating and drawing our own conclusions anyway.
I was expecting 70 weeks!
Fred T Daniel Jr:I was expecting 70 weeks!
I have a feeling that we are talking more about 40 days!
If 40 days, then release candidate before Tue 31 Aug.
