I was very discouraged this morning when I got an update and the 'Copy Bible Verses' was not restored. I use the Copy feature everyday and since they changed it to sort to Biblical order rather than inserted order it has been frustrating. If I use it I must copy and paste the scriptures in the final document to put them in the order that I want them. This is a feature that, for me, has been almost made useless. However, I do have other Bible programs that I can copy and put in the final order that I want the Bible verses. It means that I use Logos 4 less, than I did and it waste my time.

Is this the final way that this function will work?

Discouraged in Cal.

The heading should have been "Copy Bible Verses"

The update you received was Service Release 2 for 4.0d.  Service releases are emergency releases to fix crashing bugs.

The next full release is still in beta and still being tested (Version 4.1), and it includes the CBV verse order fix:

Not sure when it will be released from beta, though.

Hmmmm, I hadn't realized that.... or maybe just wasn't paying attention. I, too, have been waiting on fixes to the CBV function and had expected it in this most recent SR. Guess I'll have to be a little more patient... Thanks for the info Todd!

Is there a way to copy a verse on iPad that includes the whole reference but excludes the letters and cross reference letters and numbers within the verse?

Phil - I will look into this, but you should create a new thread in the iPad/iPhone forum. http://community.logos.com/forums/74.aspx
