Copy Bible Verses
I can't imagine why the Right Click Menu Item for "Copy [verse] to clipboard" was dropped in Logos 4.
Is there a way to copy verses from Logos to say MS Word without first having to have the Copy Bible Verses tab open and visible? What a waste of precious monitor territory. Also Alt + C only works with the tab open. It seems like a bug that the style defaults to "Fully Formatted" instead of the last style selected; the other options are sticky, why not style?
I've been using Logos since the early 90's; Logos 4 is great but why drop functionality that loyal users have become used to? Copy & Paste to a word processor seems like a pretty basic function, changing it doesn't make sense to me.

What this example does is copy only the selected text to the clipboard. In version 3 the right click menu would allow you to copy the complete verse(s), with the formatting you have previously selected, to use in your word processor.

John,
Kevin's demonstration above does exactly what you've described. It copies the text of the entire verse, regardless of what is selected.
Just make sure that in the right hand pane of the "right click menu" that REFERENCE is selected. Then you're ready to go. [y]

My install of Logos 4 (4.os SR-2) doesn't act like this at all, if I select a single word or short phrase, there is no "copy" of any kind on the right click menu.
Again, note the right click menu has two parts, a left part where action is, and a right part which defines what actions are available. In your example note that you have "Greek Strongs" selected. If you had selected "reference" right above that, you would have your copy function. :-)Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

Okay that works, thanks guys. Is this anywhere in the documentation?

I skimmed the help file on the copy Bible verses and I didn't notice it.

Thanks for the help. I feel like I have a Swiss army knife here and all I know how to use is the toothpick. I attended one of Morris Proctor's seminars for Logos 3 a few years ago, it was great but I already knew 90% of what he taught. I wish there was a reference book!

Logos should really create a video solely devoted to using the right-click context menu, since it's so different from everything people are used to.

have you visited wiki.logos.com? It's a user generated help file or sorts with hints and tricks for most sections of the program.

Useful video, Thomas!
Logos should put something similar on their videos page. Can you put a video on the wiki?
