beta 7 but this has done it for ever and a day. I find Logos beta slow on my system. alot of the time I notice in the right top corner the little sync symbol going, it says synchronization in progress most of time is this making system slow ?
Can we change this somehow ? What is it syncing too? I tried to search this but honestly the forum search is not the best as I cant do it for just the mac forum.
Any ideas, suggestions?
My system is a macbook pro 2.33ghz 3 gb of ram and a super faster Momentus XT 7200rpm drive (the one with the 4gb SSD ram) everything on my system flies along but logos is always jerky and systems to sync as soon as i even scroll down the page.
Thanks
My computer does the same thing. The Sync wheel constantly spins. I think that this may also be the reason why my I've been having problems with Cited by and parallel resource. I don't know what the problem is but it needs to be fixed soon.
every time i do anything even if it is scroll a verse or 2 it seems to sync and stutter, I have my page setup simple. Only has 2 bibles and a commentary open.
Post your logs (including the SyncClientErrors.log) and we'll take a look.
Where do you get the (SyncClientErrors.logs) from?
It should be the same place as the Indexer.log and the Logos4.log. It's created anytime there is a sync error. It's helpful in just this case when we need to track down sync issues.

Shane: the solution for you is likely to be similar, but we'll need logs in order to find out the specific issues with your sync data.
