Gestures but no fine(r)-grained font-sizes...

I can now wave at Logos and have it do my bidding - which must have been a fair amount of programming effort. But I still cannot change the font size to display text (Logos' primary function) in font sizes that meet my needs. As I have pointed out before (here and here) the font sizes increase exponentially, meaning I can either have too small or too large, with no ability to pick anything in between.
Any chance finer-grained font-sizes (which really shouldn't be a big deal to implement) can be added? I know I'm perhaps sounding ungrateful for what I have and that's not the case - it's precisely because I use Logos as much as I do that I'm asking - many times, after using Logos for a few hours, my eyes become tired and I want to increase the text size slightly, and find that the next font-size on the "slider" is HUGE... with no other options available.
I'll happily beg if it will help... :-)

Am I to assume that you missed the post from Logos with regards to the gestures being a project for a summer intern? As such it makes perfect sense - non-critical, semi-independent, project of an appropriate size.
As for font-size, are you sure that you can't control it in other ways? My system allows me to make appropriate adjustments outside Logos.

There are times when I have felt that the slider goes to far one when moving between levels, making it too big, with the previous level not being quite big enough. It depends on what I am reading and why I am reading it.
I do appreciate the really large size though as I can sit in my comfy chair with my wireless keyboard put put a book in reading mode and put the slider on the highest level. so wouldn't want to loose that size but some finer grain control in the middle two thirds to right would be great.

I've tried many things, including changing screen resolution (both on Windows and Mac) as well as changing DPI (on Windows), but these changes affect the entire system and all applications. I can control text size in my web browser by holding down Control and spinning the mouse wheel and select any text size that suits my needs at a given time. But in Logos (which I use to read more than any other application that I own, including my web browser) I cannot increase/decrease text size using the keyboard, Ctrl+Mousewheel, etc. and cannot control the font size except for a small set of predefined (exponentially scaled) font sizes.
I do not want to sound ungrateful nor sound like a whiner, so at this point I concede defeat. Though I am saddened that this request seems to have fallen on deaf ears. I have not been demanding an immediate fix or implementation - a simple "yes, we'll include this at some future point" from Logos would be nice. I'm sounding like a whiner now so I'll stop here.

It wasn't in the release notes but we added a few more sizes in 4.1 Beta 11. Does these meet your needs?

Hi Todd, thanks for the heads up (and for looking at this issue). It's a great first step - it would be ideal, in my (humble :-)) opinion, if font sizes could be controlled precisely. For example, it the font-size control thingy was made so that when holding Ctrl down while dragging the little handle left or right the handle didn't snap, but moved freely, then users could keep the same interface as present. But users who want a font "slightly" larger or smaller could achieve the "slightly" bit by holding down Ctrl (say).
Also, some way to change font size (Ctrl +, Ctrl -, for example) from the command line would be really sweet.
