When I copy text from Logos into Word 2011 I am experiencing a slight glitch.

There is a footnote number that appears at the end of the copied text, the citation appears in the footnote space at the bottom of the page, but it shows up as an unnumbered footnote.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

We don't have Office 2011 yet, so we haven't tested the app with it. I'll file a bug and when my copy of Office 2011 comes in, we'll take a look.

I'm going to need a bit more information on how to reproduce this because it appears to work for me.

So the questions are:

1) What passage in what resource are you using?

2) How are you copying? Cmd-C or Copy Bible Verses?

3) If Copy Bible Verses, what formatting style are you using?

4) Do you have copy footnotes and copy citations turned on in Preferences?

Screenshots of the results in Word may be helpful as well.

This is caused by a bug in the Logos 4.0 version (Mac and Windows) and occurs in Word 2008 as well as Word 2011. This was fixed in version 4.1 for Windows and the fix will be included in a future release of Logos 4 Mac.

Any update on the footnote numbering problem with Word for Mac 2011? It was not addressed in 4.0b.
