PrePub ship dates???

Obviously, it could be that I just haven't sufficiently scoured the website trying to find it, but the once obvious listing of ship dates for my PrePubs has apparently vanished. For some odd reason the date on which I decided to enlist for each product is prominent (a date which is of passing interest but is without import), but the "potential" ship date is gone...far as I can tell.

I hope such information is available to me, now...as in IMMEDIATELY so. If I can't get a link that shows me this info by say, Wednesday (11/3) at close of business, I WILL DELETE ALL $13,000+ WORTH OF MY PREPUBS TOMORROW. And I will be done with Logos...period.

It may sound a bit cliched, but that's a promise--not a threat. I consider such info to be ultimately critical. I am offended that this info isn't front and center on the PrePub page that is most important to me...MY PrePub page.

Of course, it WAS front and center on the old website...so I suppose you can count me in the number who are instantly underwhelmed with the new website just as I am with L4. L3 does what I NEED it to do...L4 does not. Apparently (and disappointingly) the new website is going to instill nostalgia in me as well. Like many, I wanted the new things like the wish list, simpler search, etc. But losing what you rely on makes all of the so-called "sweet" new things taste unacceptably bitter.

Don't care where the link comes from or who provides it--but...

You can also search the New Pre-Pub page by ship date and look for the greyed-out boxes. They represent the ones you already have on order:

I'm sorry we accidentally dropped that data from the page. The date was in the spec, but got overlooked when the page was coded. The data is, of course, still in the databases -- the web pages are just presentations of the records -- and we're working quickly to restore these fields to the reports.

Yesterday the team didn't make too many improvements -- they were all sleeping after being up 24-48 hours for the launch! -- but we're back on making improvements and addressing the top-website issues as quickly as possible.

I hope you (and other users upset with the new web site) will hold on, and give us even a few days to address your concerns before leaving us. The web site is just a cosmetic presentation of the underlying databases, and we haven't messed those up!

Mine shows in a column called "status."

If you try to use Bob's link in your post, does taht help? That is what I used to get to see it, first.

Then I checked the regular way through my account and it was also safely there as well.

I played around a bit, and it seems that on every page where the word 'search' appears in the URL you can add '&unlocked=yes' to the end of that URL to see only the titles you own or have pre-ordered (grey button), or you can add '&unlocked=no' to see only the titles you haven't ordered (coloured button). Very useful! For now.

For now, you can repeat the search by clicking on "Pre-Publication" under the "Status" facet and then clicking on "Shipping Soon" under the "Pre-Pub Status" facet that appears in its place. Then append the string &unlocked=yes to the URL and hit enter.

In the near future, we'll add a checkbox or additional facet to allow you to filter out product you own/have pre-ordered/have bid on or not.

Unlocked is probably a little bit sloppy of a term. It currently refers to three things:

Live products whose content you have a license for.
Pre-Pubs that you have pre-ordered.
Community Pricing titles that you have bid on.

I have given Matt's comment some thought, and I suppose that is true. I don't try to be...but I have to admit that when I have feelings about something, they are usually strong feelings. And so I reflect...

On the one hand, they don't call dramatic portrayals of Y'shuua's death "Passion" plays for nothing.

On the other hand, "passion" is one of the elements of the Sith code.

The two Star Wars computer games, Knights of the Old Republic and KOTOR 2, taken together question the absence of Passion in the Jedi Code. Computer games or not, these two storylines have given me a remarkable amount of insight and reflection on what constitutes positive and negative, light and dark.

Changing gears...

Historically, many so-called "church fathers" have insisted on describing God as being "dispassionate". They of course came to this conclusion more from their "background in" and "reaction to" Greek theology/mythology than from the pages of Scripture. The Olympians, with their all too human (dare I say "Sith-like"?) wallowing in unchecked passion (i.e. selfishness) put a bitter taste in the mouths of those who perceived "the gods" as spoiled and petulant children. But their reactionary insistence on the Biblical God's dispassion is falsehood. YHWH and Y'shuua are awash and abound is deep passion--from Song of Solomon to Hebrews, and Genesis to Revelation, God makes it perfectly clear that He is emotionally involved in the things that matter to Him.

Logos matters to me. In fact, in a limited but none-the-less true sense, Logos is my whole life. I often spend up to 12-16 hours a day using Logos. I am deeply invested in it...meaning the software I use daily. It isn't scripture itself...and yet it is. Logos is a company, but it is more than that. I literally don't go anywhere without it and I don't even have a smartphone. A friend calls me "Borg" (a Star Trek reference), because I seem to be "plugged in" constantly. Of course, I am probably preaching to the choir. Everyone on this forum likely has similar feelings and habits.

I have usage patterns that have developed over the years (going back to the late 90's when I first began using Logos) that serve my needs. Ever since I upgraded to Gold in L3, I had been waiting and hoping for a Platinum edition. When I saw the announcement for Platinum I was thrilled...but was even more excited to find out about the Portfolio. I jumped on it immediately. I had many of those items on my wish list...but absent the hefty base package discount, that is exactly where they would have remained.

Added to this unexpected bonanza was an unexpected "cherry on top"--L4. Great! [:)] Except that once I got the package and began to use it, I realized that it didn't do much of what has become essential and vital to me...great. [:(] Bob himself told me at the first L4 Camp Logos that L4 wouldn't ever have the functionality I use on a daily basis in L3. Well, as I've said...Logos is my life. And now I realize that the relationship has become "strained"--for lack of a better term, it has become a "love/hate" association. I want to be a Logos cheerleader. But things that are vitally important to me are dropped in the name of "progress". Disappointment seems to have become a permanent fixture in my ongoing relationship with the most enduring and intimate aspect of my life. Logos has ingratiated itself into that part my life and become indispensible...and yet it has dispensed with things that I consider vital.

I told Bob in Tennessee that I felt that he and his company were (in part) the fulfillment of a major Biblical prophecy--Daniel 12:4 : "Many shall go back and forth and knowledge will increase (NASB)." I've probably heard dozens of explanations for this verse, all focused on the changes since the Industrial Revolution and how the fund of human knowledge has begun to double every year, or even two or three times per year. Blah, blah, blah...nonsense! God doesn't care about planes, trains, and automobiles. He doesn't care about Kurzweil innovation graphs or the human ingenuity of endless TED Talks conferences. He cares about submission to the procedural process of being conformed to His image. He's talking about knowledge ABOUT HIM. It isn't "running to and fro" like chickens without heads. It IS "going back and forth"...from this resource to that resource, from this Bible to that Bible, from this lexicon to that lexicon, from this encyclopedia to that dictionary...with the end result being that knowledge increases.

Bible software in general, but in my case, Logos in particular, IS the fulfillment of Daniel's prophecy. Of all the tools out there, I believe Logos does the job best...though for me that means L3 more than L4. Fortunately, I can still use L3...in fact I use the two side-by-side regularly. Each has strengths and weaknesses. But to me, they are both indispensible. Occasionally, because I care so much and because it is in effect at this point the only tool I have at my disposal, I am very disappointed and occasionally distraught if the tool doesn't perform as desired. And because I am "passionate" about my tool and the work it allows me to accomplish, I can and have "emoted" that the tool isn't as sharp as I occasionally wish it were. I don't think that is improper (squeaky wheels do tend to get greased, and besides, Logos already has its groupies who feel Logos can do no wrong, and would probably be thrilled if Bob said he had accidentally run over their dog: "Bob ran over MY dog!" [<:o)] ), but nevertheless...

I haven't been as quick to express gratitude for what Logos is to me...at this time essentially the only significant tool in the pursuit of my passion. It is a worthy tool for accomplishing an end-time task. It can be sharper (and I know that Logos has all intention of making it so), but it is a blessing beyond question. And so I want to say here what my disappointment has in many instances kept me from saying--Logos (the software foremost, but the company as well) is a true blessing to me. I honestly don't know of any company that communicates so readily with its customer base. So thank you Logos...

I think its the "Shipping Soon" on the left hand side on the pre-pub screen. This will show you all the upcoming scheduled releases.
