I would like to buy a used copy of Logos that includes Greek and Hebrew resources for the Mac. Where can I do that?
I can't think of anyone who after using Logos would want to sell it!
If you will give me your email address, I will contact you.

I understand the reasoning behind this but at the same point it is hard to imagine where one would look for used Logos software elsewhere I was wondering would it contravene this rule to say:
I am JOE Blow and and I am looking for x logos software if anyone is looking to sell it, you can reach me at joeblow@mailserver.com
I personally am not looking to sell anything at all, but I do hope it is possible for people to connect, and it is somewhat advantageous for Logos to do that since Logos charges to make licenses owner changes.

Steve,
I wasn't aware of your policy. I came straight to this forum (never used it before) from a Google search. I was already a member because I registered for iOS devices.
I'm having a hard time finding a license, the full price is just too much for me. I'll keep hunting elsewhere! thanks again, apologies for violating policy

Welcome to the Fourm Jacques!
it is not my policy, but the policy setup by Logos. i am just a forum user like you. i hope that you find what you are looking for. Others might have suggestions on a way to get Logos cheaper. Also Logos offers payment plan with not interest (just a flat service charge).
It was not my intention to alarm you, just let you know what the rules were.
Hope you see your posts here on the forum.
Jacques, Logos does offer a monthly payment option. Have you looked into it?
Blessings.
Yes, I have. I just don't have that kind of cash..
Last year it was on sale and I also noticed a March MADNESS sale at Logos last year too. I'll just have to wait for it to be on sale again.
I tried hard to find Logos, even an old copy, to no avail. It's no where on eBay either..
It kills me too, because the Scholar core package (which has the full engine) has SO much stuff I don't need AT ALL. All the general books and stuff, I'd never actually read using a computer. I prefer paper. I wish there was some way to only get the Bibles, Lexicons, Interlinears and Commentaries. I'm only wanting to dig in and MacSword just can't.
I'll wait and see!!
= )
thanks
Suggest calling Logos 1-800-875-6467 (Mon - Fri 6 am - 5 pm Pacific) - can ask about base package discount (missed holiday sale last year).
Also, if qualify, Logos offers academic pricing (better than sale price).

Observation: part of Logos power is being able to quickly search library for relevant information - from search result, can preview article, if interesting, have option to open physical book to page for reading.
Logos does offer minimal crossgrade for $ 69.95 => http://www.logos.com/minimalcrossgrade then can purchase other resources as desired (base packages have better bundled pricing). Several features in scholars package can be purchased individually; many features depend on having appropriate resources to use functionality. If planning to use a mobile Logos application, Logos 4 base package purchase needed so can access your Logos library resources on mobile device.
Looking at comparison page => http://www.logos.com/comparison Original Languages base package => http://www.logos.com/product/8667/original-languages-library has resources needed for most Logos 4 features while lacking many general books.
Keep Smiling [:)]

I would agree with Dan Francis' reply and go further to say that I think the original poster's message does not violate forum guidelines. The guidelines say "do not sell", Joel Wilhelm was not selling, he was asking to buy. I can see and understand why Logos has provision "do not sell", because they do not want forums to become a marketplace with people increasingly shouting over one another touting things for sale. We know what would happen in that case... it would end up with forum postings having things like Flash ads placed ad nauseam in them.
Also there is the situation where someone may have a (significant) Logos library which they, legitimately, would like to sell (even pastors don't live forever). Given that a Logos library may be worth thousands of dollars and 'never wears out', someone may be very interested to sell a copy they, for whatever reason, do not need. Logos allows for transference of license and they even have a mechanism to facilitate that.
I can understand someone coming directly to a Logos platform to ask, perhaps there could be some structured place for this on the Logos web presence?
