I finally have been cured of the Logos Christmas bug. I was not able to get the Master Collection, although it was MIGHTY tempting. I did get collection 3 and a couple of other resources for the 50% off. I know from other threads on the forum that some are wondering how good a bargain this sale is. Let me say it beats any sale Wal-mart has every put on! I have the Platnium edition plus several other collections that I have added over the past few years. Before I got the Christmas collection I had 1585 resources in my library. After it finished I have 2,357. That means that I added 832 resources for $1250, which breaks down to just over $1.50 per resource. AWESOME!!!!

I hope that everyone has a wonderful, Christ-filled Christmas! I am going to be spending the holidays with family and reading some of my new books! ;) Also, a special thank you to Bob and all of the Logos people for sending this terrific deal our way. Logos has made my preaching ministry much more effective over the years. I and my congregation are very appreciative.

I didn't go on the collections - amongst other things not enough info to tell me if I was interested in the books.  BUt the 50% sale was fantastic.  I got just over 40 books for an average of $10 a book.  Some of them may have been sets, so it would work out cheaper per volume.  These were all books I wanted and  intend to read, which was not true of most of the titles I saw in the collections.  Then, of course, NICOT/NT was a temptation I chose not to resist!  Didn't even have time to check my bank balance, but have since been pleasantly surprised to learn I'm richer than I thought I was!  One advantage of living in Albania is that the cost of living is so low here (for us foreigners on foreign pensions etc - it's terribly high for Albanians on Albanian wages or lack of them) that my small pension goes much further than it would in England.

So THANK YOU, Bob and everyone who has been hard at work on these Christmas sales!  May it bring blessing to you, to us, and to those among whom we live and/or minister - and thus Glory to Him who came at Christmas!

Another hearty thank you from my house. I took up 4 resources between the 50% sale and 12 Days. None of the bigger collections interest me but I could still grab a couple cheapies from the individual title before all is said and done.

Thanks to the devs as well. What has happened on the Mac side and what is happening on the iOS side is really exciting.

I am greatly thankful to what has been accomplished in 2010 and looking forward to more good things in 2011!
