I had to upgrade my laptop before purchasing logos 4.  I found the download tool on importing notes but it seems like that is if you are running both versions on the same computer.

Can I

1) Download and run the notes tool on the old computer to prep the notes

2) Somehow move the notes over to the new computer

3) Download and run the notes tool on the new computer to import

Please walk me through this if I don't quite have this right

Yes John, but it will be a one way import as opposed to an import that syncs between L4 and L3.

Follow step 1, then copy the my documents/LibronixDLS folder to your new computer into the same location (e.g. /my documents/LibronixDLS).

Open L4 and type import notes.

In this scenario, I'm not even certain the L3 notes prep tool is necessary since I believe it only is required for syncing changes back and forth.  At a minimum copying the directory and running the import should be all that is truly needed.

From post topic, old laptop has to be running Windows since Logos for Mac 1.2.2 not have notes.
