Sentence Diagramming expected date
Do we have an expected release date for the sentence diagramming function? I am taking Greek Syntax and Exegesis now and it would very helpful to have this function.

Forum Sentence Diagramming: Inserting Text and Printing has some examples plus desired enhancement for Logos 4 to match Libronix 3 capability.
Lexham Discourse Greek New Testament includes Discourse Analysis markers along with showing sentence fragments.
Lexham High Definition New Testament: ESV Edition (3 vols.) adds Discourse Analysis markers to ESV (including bold for Emphasis).

I'm speaking of a feature where a diagram is produced BY the program itself. Another Bible software allows you to right click on a verse and select "diagram this verse."
I am aware that you can create your own diagram in L4M.

"Cascadia Syntax Graphs of the New Testament" are included in Logos 4 Scholar's Silver Library and above. Can enter passage to quickly go to any sentence in the New Testament.
Can hover mouse on any word to highlight grammatical usage elements in that sentence (all syntactic path elements become Bold).
"The Lexham Syntactic Greek New Testament: Sentence Analysis" is included with Logos 4 Original Language and above packages already has diagramming with sentences, frames, and clauses.
Lexham Discourse Greek New Testament is an optional Logos 4 purchase that includes Discourse Analysis markers along with showing sentence fragments that can be used with visual filters to highlight grammatical word usage (combining compatible highlighting - e.g. indicative mood in Bold font with verb tense background color). Thankful can quickly toggle visual filters on and off.
Screen capture has Highlighting (used by my Logos Greek Morphology visual filters), Lexham Discourse Greek New Testament, Lexham High Definition New Testament: ESV Edition, and Lexham Syntactic Greek New Testament (done on PC, Logos 4 resources appear the same on a Mac):
Discourse Analysis provides insights about contextual flow of thoughts in a passage, including relationships between clauses.
Pre-publications has Lexham Discourse Hebrew Bible Bundle (6 vols.) that would be worthwhile; hoping more Logos users place pre-orders so bundle status can change from "Almost There".

Currently Logos 4 sentence diagramming does not have capability to automatically generate a comparable sentence diagram; does have capability to insert passage text for your own diagramming (can choose appropriate tools, drag and drop to arrange items, and add personal comments) so can manually create a similar diagram. Do like Logos 4 line diagramming option to include alternate item (e.g. Morphology, Louw-Nida #) with primary word, can toggle visibility of primary and alternate.
Apologies, looking at Logos Bible Software 4 Forum user voice voting for Logos 4 feature requests and enhancements, Sentence Diagramming notably missing from list of items with 5 or more votes.
As a Logos user (with Many Volunteer Posts), looking at Features Coming Soon to Logos 4 noticed items estimated for 2nd Quarter this year and 1st Quarter next year. Wondering about new features planned for Logos 4 to improve Bible Study not yet ready for public announcement (i.e. later this year).
Thankful for Logos 4 Beta Program where new features become available for public Beta testing; also caution Beta releases can be buggy so not for everyone.

Personally, I would rather do my own research. I would not want a computer-generated (or canned) sentence diagram.

Are you sure BW has automatic diagramming? I don't have it, but I'm pretty sure it's manual like Logos.
The Leedy diagrams are pre-made diagrams by Randy Leedy. Having those available as a Logos resource would be a good request.

Are you sure BW has automatic diagramming?BW does have a automated diagramming tool that has a outline for every passage in the NT. But it is done by one man, so one is bound to disagree with certain grammatical and syntactical conclusions. It is a useful tool, but the best way to do diagramming is to do it for oneself. I have used it BW diagramming tool to occasionally check my own work, and have found that I disagree with the author on occasion, but I try to do the work myself before I check, if I check at all.
I also prefer more of a sentence flow than a block diagram, but that is my own preference.

One thing that might be done is to build an automatic conversion from the syntax tree diagrams to the Reed-Kellogg diagrams. It might be possible to autogenerate sentence flow diagrams as well from one of the clause/discourse diagrams. And being able to pull out outlines from various resources and show them in parallel would be very nice.

I'm not sure where the idea of not doing your own diagramming came into the discussion.
I find it incredibly valuable to have a scholar's diagrams within reach to compare with my own work.
BW has diagramming available for the entire GNT within 2 clicks.

Concur having diagrams to compare is valuable. Apologies, my earlier Logos examples missed "The Lexham Clausal Outlines of the Greek New Testament" (included with Original Languages and higher) that has Logos Greek Morphology. Screen shot includes one visual filter to highlight main verbs:
Also missed "The OpenText.org Syntactically Analyzed Greek New Testament" (Original Languages and higher), also tagged with Logos Greek Morphology.
Letters identify S(ubject), P(redicate), etc.

The Leedy Sentence Diagram function provided in BibleWorks is a helpful check for students and faculty alike. Logos would do well to add it to their options. I understand that "as of June 15, 2018 BibleWorks ceased operation as a provider of Bible software tools." Logos should add the Leedy Sentence Diagrams of the NT asap (as in yesterday).

In addition, Timothy, have you checked the Sentence Diagrammer? It looks to me as if Leedy is already supported ... but that is on a quick glance at google results for Leedy.
