Looping install

Anyone experienced this?  I am running a white MacBook 2.4gh 2GB running OS X 10.5.8.  I installed Alpha 1 and indexed it (I think it was 8 hours).  It then did an update download.  Download completed.  Install and relaunch Logos.  I click ok so it does then it tells me downloading updates and the cycle starts over again.

Then after all of this, it says Logos not compatible with this system or something to that effect.

Any thoughts other than delete it all and start over?

I got a response in the old Beta forum and there seems to be some looping problems due to some updated resources.  It is supposed to be fixed in the next release.

The next question, should we still try to index or wait?

That has not been answered yet, but I hope we all hear back soon.  I amy pause my indexing until I hear otherwise.

I reinstalled and didn't have to index.  Weird.  It is still looping though.

I am able to use the program however, at least to some extent.  If I do a plain search, just type something in the search bar, and click enter then it pulls up results.  I get to "drop down" boxes saying the same thing, but only one drop down box has anything in it.  And I can't click on any of the resources, or at least I haven't successfully done it yet.

Other thread has info that a tech knows about the issue and they hope to have a fix released by end of the week. Just FYI.

No more looping now.  I guess it is fixed.  I did install the engine on my PC at home to see what it is supposed to look like, although I have yet to crossgrade/upgrade.  I would like to upgrade to the Scholars Package from my current Leaders Package but at $361 it just ain't happening right now...nor is the crossgrade to Logos4 Leaders.  Besides, I don't think my home PC is really "ready" for Logos 4...or will be.  But my Mac is ready and waiting.

I'm in the same boat David. Think I'd like to go up to the Scholar's package, but not sure I have the funds right now. That said, I wonder if we can do the payment plan with Logos and spread the cost a bit. I'm considering that option.

I need the payment plant and went from gold to platinum. I also downloaded a 30 trial of fusion to see how it looked under windows.   Looks great.

I can't wait for it to get onto the Mac at 100%.
