i have been using RT for nearly two years without a hitch; a great tool!! Today ( 8-19-11), the background has disappeared! Tried reinstalling RT on blogspot; it did not correct this anomaly. My blog is michael-gram.blogspot.com.  I have three other blogs where this is occurring also. Any help is appreciated.

Hi Michael,

I am not seeing this problem on your site. We have not made any changes to reftagger recently, and I'm not aware of anyone else seeing this issue. Could you tell me what browser you're using?

Thanks,

Bryan

I am also experiencing this today and I'm not sure why (I haven't made any changes related to it) It is occurring on my custom site that I've created (http://tjcbdb.info/tidbits) but when I view other sites using reftagger it appears fine. In the javascript console, the reason is because the ReferenceTagging.css file is not getting fetched from the server and failing with this error:

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 503 (Service Unavailable)

I also get "This service is unavailable" when I try accessing the css file directly using this link: http://bible.logos.com/Content/ReferenceTagging.css

Interesting. I'd expect to see that when our servers were having problems, but our monitoring tools have not reported any events. Do you still get a 503 today? Your browser should not have cached an error response, but could you try clearing your cache?

Hi Bryan - I'm getting the same problem using Internet Explorer 8 but not with Firefox. Now not only do Reftagger boxes fail to close but they also have become semi-transparent. Thanks for your help. Bruce

Follow-up Note: Don't know what corrective actions were taken but as of 9:55PM the Reftagger boxes are no longer transparent in IE8. Thank you. Bruce
