My office machine is running Windows Vista, with a custom installations - Logos program files on C and data files on D. Whenever I start Logos it crashes and I get this Windows message

delete and download logos 4.3 fresh installation. and don't install from the CD

This looks like you installed Logos in the past as another user (or as admin) than you are now trying to load it. Running it as admin might temporarily solve your problem. There is a thread (or in the meantime maybe even a wiki page) out here how to solve such issues by reassigning ownership of the folders Logos uses - which might be more or less cumbersome than reinstalling, depending on your situation.

This could be because a program has got access (or not relinquished it). So I would reboot the computer then start L4 whilst holding the Ctrl key. Upload logos4.log if there is still a problem.
