I am about to buy the Platinum and realized that the Baker Exegetical Commentary on the New Testament and Baker's New Testament Commentary, by Kistemaker and Hendriksen (12 Vols.) is no longer listed in the Platinum base package, which is a pity.

Why?

Baker requested that certain books be removed from the base packages. See here.

Thanks. I think this is so called the lose lose situation. Both of us made a wrong decision:

I made a wrong decision to not buying the Platinum a year ago and thinking that it could only be improved, only more and more resources are added, but that's not true.

And Baker loses audiences like me that wouldn't buy those two collections if it is not included. May be financially they gain but in terms of number of audiences they lose.

Anyway. I think I should buy the Platinum now in case some other things are pulling out from it again.

I bought Platinum last month, and my only regret  is not buying it before Baker decided to withdraw their collections.  I shan't buy them now on principle.

I can agree and say the BNTC is something one can pass up but seriously count the cost on holding out on the BECNT.  Does this also mean you won't be able to take advantage of the 7 vol BECNT upgrade currently in pre-pub?  Its a lot of great scholarship to miss out on! Pizza

I went for a Platinum upgrade just before they took out the Baker volumes. I am delighted that this proved to be a wise decision, but Platinum upgrade while on the current discount offer is still the most logical package for someone who wants to make the most of Logos beyond Scholar.
