Is the authentication server down? I'm able to log into the forum but not into LOGOS. Only offline works. 6076.Logos4.log
I'm getting the same problem in L4Win and the iOS app. The Android App on my phone is working correctly right now though.
Having the same problem here. PST 10:18. Just completed an update. Login works for logos.com site but not Biblia.com
Is the authentication server down?
It can be awkward at times, but don't forget your password! Show us another log if the problem persists, but you might be better contacting Customer Services.
Ditto - not working for L4 for Windows or iPod Touch app
i have the same problem, unable to login ......
I am getting the same issue on Mac with Logos 4.3.XX. This is very irritating. Credentials work fine with the Logos.com site, but not the program. There must be an authentication server problem.
I'm on Windows XP and have the same problem -- can log into forums but not into Logos 4.

Dave, thanks. Don't be fooled by the screen shot. The password field comes up empty after it rejects the sign in. My post was after the fifth try. My password worked logging into my web based account/forum. (Of which I log in fresh every time and log out every time. No "stay logged in" check boxes for me! So to be sure its not my password. I know its milliseconds but its kinda' lengthy...
I am also getting the same problem. I can log into logos.com via the web. I've even reset my password and verified that I'm inputting the correct password, but still getting a "The user name or password were not accepted by Logos.com". This occurred after I downloaded the Richmond Daily Dispatch resources and restarted Logos.

Me Too! (L4Mac)
Yup and me too. Glad I'm not alone. I had just re-installed Logos 4, but can't get the downloads of my resources because my login is not accepted. I guess I'll try in the morning when folks are awake on the west coast [;)]
I am using vista and having the same problem
Glad it is not just me - I am experiencing the same problems - hopefully sorted out soon
Robert
I'm getting the same problem, but I noticed it when I tried to access my reading plan in the iPhone app this morning. Assuming that it was an app problem, I opened Logos on my Mac and had the same rejection as the original poster.
I've got the same problem.
Can't log into my Win7 machine and my IPAD 2 app doesn't work either.
I'm experiencing the same problems, there was a Win 7 update tonight, maybe that has something to do with it.
I'm having the same problem, but had no update recently. I've had to work offline.
It looks the problem is on the Logos authentications server side. People have problem on both PC, MAC and iOS platforms, both with the old iOS and the new iOS 5.
I have Logos 4.5 Beta 1 installed, my associate pastor has a regular Logos 4 installation and we both have the problem.
I too cannot login... Biblia.com is also down...
Andy
I, too, am having problems. I have changed password, still no luck. I can get into Logos on website not the program. I have been having a another problem for the last several days when marking my Bible it is slow to complete marking. real sloooooooooooooooow. I have report that.
Ditto to all the above as of 10/13/11 0500 hrs EST. Windows XP platform current version of software.
Hey,
Same problem here.
L4Mac
I tried resetting my password but no luck.

Having the same problem.
Add me to the list. I can download resources...but getting the same error as above trying to login...very weird.
This is getting old. We had this issue not too long ago, and we are having it again now. Logos needs to do a better job in keeping their servers running. I have never had this type of service from any other company.
You can add me to the list too. I was successful at logging in on the Logos site, I changed my password there, but can't get in via the L4 (running L4Beta5 on Windows 7 Home Premium.)
Last night (after the beta installed) I couldnt' synchronise any files--got an error message every time (but I wasn't worried about that since I wasn't working on anything at that point--just trying to install the beta).
Peace & Blessings,
Colin+
It is now 6:10 am on 10/13/11 and my Logos 4 still will not log in. I have tried to change the password on line, but nothing seems to work.
Does anyone know the procedures for offline synchronization between computers when the authentication servers go down? I understand these things happen, but it would sure be nice to be able to sync my updates on one PC (i.e. notes, passage lists, etc.) to another.

We will probably have to wait until the US West Coast wakes up in another 2.5–3 hours
EDIT: Spoke too soon. Mine just logged in [^]
Without Logo's servers, there is no synchronization.

Yes, confirmed here also. My Logos logged-in normally now and also iOS version on iPhone works as usual. Great. Thank you Logos for fixing the problem. [Y]

There may not be an officially endorsed method, but synchronization is always possible when data is stored local to a machine and someone has an alternative means of conducting that synchronization (e.g. USB drive or peer-to-peer folder synchronization). In the case of Logos, our data is indeed locally stored otherwise we wouldn't be able to access it offline.

I do not recommend peer-to-peer folder synchronization between computers as there is a high possibility of losing documents (or worse) when online sync returns. Is it worthwhile for 5 hours (in this case) loss of sync to consider a manual method when all changes are saved and will eventually be sync'd when you sign-on to the other computer?
I am back online with Logos. Thank you Logos
