Wow! There was way too many great suggestions for Matthew last week, I couldn't get them all in the post! Great job, keep it up!
I am looking for your favorite commentaries on Mark now. What do you suggest?
Definitely RT France in the New International Greek Testamnet Commentary series.
William Lane in NICNT. Great historical redemptive analysis.
I agree whole heartedly with William Lane's volume, even though it is getting a bit dated now.
In addition, Morna Hooker's commentary in Black's series has some very helpful insights due to her extensive knowledge of NT Greek.
I also like English's commentary in The Bible Speaks Today series.
Not to be overlooked is Robert Guelich in Word Biblical Commentary, which was completed very capably by Craig Evans.
R T France, NIGNT series is excellent.
N T Wright, Mark for Eveyone is the best non-technical.
Robert Bratcher's UBS Handbook is good for word studies.
Another vote for R T France NIGTC. Second place Joel Marcus AYBC.
I'm preaching through Mark right now and the Believer's Church Bible Commentary on Mark by Timothy Geddert is just fantastic. I enjoy reading it very, very much.

I like R.T. France NIGTC, J.R. Edwards Pillar, and D. L. Bock in Cornerstone. The Cornerstone is a Matthew/Mark title and Bock did Mark.
I am preaching through Mark and have reached chapter 15. I've prepared 41 messages thus far utilizing various commentaries in my Logos collection. The main 'go-to' commentary for me would be D. Edmond Hiebert's commentary, The Gospel of Mark: An Exegetical Commentary. While a few of Hiebert's commentaries are available on Logos, this one is not. The other two main-stays for me have been Timothy Geddert's commentary titled Believers Church Bible Commentary: Mark and The Pillar New Testament Commentary: The Gospel According to Mark by James Edwards. Geddert is very helpful with the way he arranges his material. He provides sections which fit the text into the biblical context and in the life of the church. This is helpful to me for application. I utilize Hiebert and Edwards for exegetical insight. I really appreciate James Edwards' literary development of Mark. He really does a great job at demonstrating that Mark is not as haphazardly put together as one might be tempted to think. I really enjoy the nine sections of Mark highlighted in his commentary using a literary technique deemed a Markan Sandwich. This has helped me to divide my preaching portions.
Ben Witherington's The Gospel of Mark - A Socio-Rhetorical Commentary is excellent.
Just in case you may have missed this, the blog article on Mark is up: http://blog.logos.com/2011/10/recommended-commentaries-mark/
Jayson is looking for input on the Gospel of Luke right now: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/40085.aspx
I have a lot of good commentaries on Mark. Many more than are carried by Logos. I always look at Gould in the International Critical Commentary first.
Is Cranfield's commentary in the Cambridge Greek NT series on community pricing, or is his volume a later edition? Cranfield is always worth reading.
Vincent Taylor's commentary is one of my favorites.
