Is it possible highlight text supplied by translators?

Is it possible highlight in Logos the text supplied by translators? You know, when have to "insert" words in host language to provide sense. Is it possbile? Thanks.

    Not really because a "word" isn't the right unit of language - a morpheme is the smallest unit of meaning and the level that is added or omitted as you translate from one language to another. None of our interlinears really take it to this level so we don't have the information we need to do it properly.

    P.S. This is one reason I prefer tree diagrams for sentences - one can take them down to the morpheme level. One can then put the original language in a top-down tree, the translation in an upward tree and map the links in the middle. Which would truly give you what you want.

    Some translations provide footnotes that you can mine for similar information e.g.

    • ESV uses "some manuscripts" which you can explore in Translator's Note (below)
    • In NET search for clarity in Footnote Text e.g. "specified in the translation for clarity"

    I once amused myself when learning how to use Logos by making a visual filter that kind of does what you are asking, only in reverse.  I made a morph search/visual filter of every part of speech in Greek one at a time until I had everyone of them on one search/visual filter.  So the words that were not highlighted were the ones added by the translators to make the translation flow in English. As I recall it was a wildcard search, that is, I searched an asterisk.  (At the time I thought it amusing to see how much the KJV translators "added" to the Word of God ;-) 

    (Edit: I am still learning how to use Logos :-)

    Why not use a reverse interlinear.This way one can see not only the words added in the RL (receiving language), but also the words "skipped" by the translators in the SL (source language). Also one can see how the words in the SL are re-ordered to make the translation work in the RL

    Granted this is not highlighting but I think it does the function you want.
