In version 3, there was a handy check list of Louw-Nida semantic domains that you could select for Syntax Searches. In the Syntax dialog, there is just an edit box without any help about what to enter. Is a pop-up list planned or is there a way to bring up the list of semantic domains for selection? Entering a number brings up a list of numbers, but no information about what the numbers mean. The current syntax search dialog is pretty sparse. I hope this will be improved much like @ brings up a list of choices when entering morphology.

This is due for a workover as the O'text GNT now has context sensitive LN numbers. The Syntax Search should allow a search at the same level eg. 26.9 instead of 26.

So, is there no way to search a subsection (e.g., 25.206-25.222)? I can't figure this one out.

Okay. I discovered that you have to enter the subdomain with a CAPITAL letter in order to search an entire subdomain. In other words, "25t" would yield 0 results. You need to type "25T" instead.

It doesn't accept a range in Article but Subdomain accepts 25 and prompts for the rest eg. 25.A  (not 25A).

Okay. Thanks.

I am looking forward to getting this functionality is a plain old morphology graphical search tool without needing to go through the syntax search.

Trying to figure out Syntax Search!

Just noticed they must have changed the way the LN subdomain box works within SS - 25.C doesn't work but 25C does.

David, have you checked out http://wiki.logos.com/A_Strategy_for_Syntax_Search ?

Also, are you sure that 25.C doesn't work? It did for me

(BTW, I'm running 4.2a Beta 5 so that could explain the difference)
