I am rather surprised that International Standard Bible Encyclopedia, rev. ed. (ISBE 1979–1995) (4 vols.) was not included in most of logos base package while it is free in e-sword.
Also logos doesn't seem to have IVP bible background commentaries (OT & NT)?
Welcome to Logos!
The difference between the Logos version and many of the other free or public-domain texts you can find online is the tagging beneath the text. This allows it to be integrated into the Logos software, and takes quite a bit of effort. However, if that is not important to your needs, then by all means use the free online versions.
Also, the dictionaries are available. Take a look here for the IVP resources:

FYI, the ISBE included in e-Sword is not the copyrighted 1979 Revised Edition, but rather the 1915 edition (which is in the public domain).
Both editions do cost money in Logos, but the 1915 edition is somewhat cheaper:

Yep, I have missed having ISBE in the Logos version and that along with foreign language bibles has been my reason to keep e-sword on my computer!
I would hope it would be added to the Gold edition at least so I could have it. I do have the new edition sitting on my shelves, but in Logos it would be handy!
Yours in Him,
