Is there a way to delete duplicated note files by one or two clicks?
Some of the notes I created are being duplicated so many. It seems that they are not deleted when I clicked the delete command.
Is there a way to delete them by one or two clicks?
One note in particular is duplicated more than 20 of them and they refuse to be deleted.

In the Command Box, type the command REMOVE DUPLICATE NOTES. That gets rid of all duplicates in seconds.

No shortcut to deleting them I'm afraid.
But one of the main causes of duplication has been when Logos is open on two different computers that are syncing against each other. If this is what's happening, close one instance or take it offline.

HOW did that one sneak past me?
Thanks Robert! I just learned something.

Are you using more than one PC?

Here is the oficial procedure from Logos Tech. Support:
1) Close Logos on all computers except for one.
2) Run Sync Now and wait for syncing to complete.
a. This may take several hours with how many duplicates we have created. You can tell when sync is done by looking at the arrows in the top right.
3) Go into Program Settings and set Use Internet to No.
4) Restart Logos 4.
5) Run “Remove duplicate notes” command.
a. This may also take a while depending on how many duplicates exist. You will see a working indicator in the top right next to the sync icon.
6) Go into Program Settings and set Use Internet to Yes.
7) Restart Logos 4.
8) Run Sync now and wait for syncing to complete. Once again this may take several hours.
9) Double check that all duplicates are still gone.
a. If there are no duplicates, you should be able to use it on multiple machines again.

That has always been the way I have eliminate duplicates, and so far it has worked flawlessly. However, the method outlined above will probably be more secure.
Haven't had any duplicate notes in several months since I learned the cause.

I used to have similar problems too, but after using
"long path tool" You can use to solve this problem.0 -
Why not try Duplicate Files Deleter. It will do a thorough search of your hard disk and find out the two or more duplicate files of the same file which may be stored at different locations. This will give you a comprehensive list of all those files and you can decide for yourself what you want to do with them.

This thread is old, but was revived recently and since the problem still occurs from time to time, I am interested in the solution. I cannot make sense of your solution, John, and I don't want to use a third party approach, Peterson. I did try the command mentioned above and it seems that it has been deprecated because it is no longer invoked in the command box.
What is the current logos solution?

Neither John's nor Peterson's suggestions are relevant to Logos - I think they are spam.

The "remove duplicate notes" command was removed (as per https://community.logos.com/forums/p/93199/649694.aspx#649694) as the problem it was introduced to address had been resolved.
As you are still seeing problems I suggest you start a new thread and provide as many details as possible.
