What our libraries won't look like...
Having become a Logosite & pretty much only e-books nowadays, I'm pretty sure I'll never gather bookshelves like these...

Although perhaps I could hope to manage a small one like this... http://www.flickr.com/photos/chorip/900888676/

The The Law Library of Munich was my favorite. I would change the lighting, though.

Well, mine would never look like the Musashino Art University Library. About 70% of it's shelves are empty! And several of them look like they are more about the design space than the books, with no books visible at all. That wouldn't be one for me.
Here's my library (well, part of it; there are three more bookcases in my bedroom, which is too messy to show you, and I haven't even finished unpacking all my boxes):

Excellent. I bet your mass-market paperbacks are in the bedroom.
Here's mine:
EDIT: Oops--that's the Trinity College Library in Dublin. Sometimes I get them confused.

Wow, a one-man project to build a theological library on his own property?
That guy's sure got passion...and money. I wonder how much use it will get, and whether it will suffer in breadth and quality from not being associated with an active educational institution?

Here's Spurgeons where apparently 12000 volumes lived - that's one big desk!
