Hi guys!
I am totally new to Libronix 3. The thing is that i have a friend who owns Scholars Library Gold 3, which i had someone install for him a long time ago. The thing is that this friend of mine knows nothing about computers, so dont remember anything about his customer id stuff like that. Im trying to reinstall Libronix 3 on his computer for him but im encountering som difficulties and i hope you guys can help me.
Info: Currently running this on a macbook with lion installed and running libronix through parallells.
Questions:
1. I heard some rumors that it is possible to get an mac version of libronix 3 (Libronix DLS Mac 1.0??)and use the same license as for the win version, because you only pay for the books, not the system. Is this true? How do i get it?
2. I can't get it to activate. It says that the serial is connected to another customer id. The thing is that the email registered is an old one, and even maybe forgotten. Is it possible to re-connect the serial to a new e-mail? Creating a new customer ID?

There is an older Mac version of Libronix, but why not just update and use Logos 4 for the Mac? Check the info out here: http://www.logos.com/support/mac
To activate you must have the old account ID. The only way to proceed if you do not have that is to give a call to Logos Customer Support during their business hours and explain the situation. They may be able to find your friend's ID or might be willing to activate it without that ID. They can also update the ID to reflect a current email address.

The initial Libronix port for Mac OS X, Logos for Mac v 1, used Safari 4 display code. When Apple shipped Safari 5, Logos for Mac v 1.2.2 essentially became an e-Book reader so product page was removed from Logos.com web site.
Scholars Library Gold 3 resources are usable in Logos 4 on Mac and PC using the same Logos.com account as Libronix 3. In 2009, Logos changed resource licensing to purchase once for your library, then use on desired device(s). Due to some publisher contracts/restrictions, some Logos resources are not (yet) available for mobile device use. Libronix 3 and Logos 4 software are now free along with mobile apps for iOS and Android.

Concur with advice to contact Logos => http://www.logos.com/about/contact to discuss your friend's Logos.com account. Libronix 3 and Logos 4 can peacefully coexist in Windows; does need disk space due to separate copies of resource files.
Libronix 3 needs a patch for use with Internet Explorer 9 => Libronix and Internet Explorer 9
