As it would significantly increase the cost to Logos to provide better tagging in Vyrso books, let me suggest an alternative (I've actually been suggesting this for years). Even in some Logos books link quality can be suspect (or simply missing).

Take advantage of your user base.

  1. Create a tool in the desktop software and in the mobile software where we can report a link as incorrect or missing.
  2. Automatically update the resources to reflect properly created links.
    1. Perhaps for a standard users, it would take 2 or 3 people reporting the same link for it to be adopted.
    2. Or for those users who have demonstrated a history of care and accuracy, you may opt to simply automatically update resources with their fixes.

This solution has been needed in Logos for quite some time and now with Vyrso, I think it is necessary.

I have been reading Owen's Temptation and Sin in Vyrso and the auto-tags are regularly incorrect. Also, there are references (especially in footnotes) to other works by Owen or contemporary authors which would be great to have tagged. I did not expect them to be tagged as I knew that this was a Vyrso edition, but with a solution like I have given here, they could be tagged. At no cost (beyond developing the tool) to Logos, the quality of their books could be vastly improved....Logos wiki-fied.
