When I put a verse in the Passage Box, a preset layout appears. I would like to modify that layout and have the modified layout appear every time I use the Passage Box. Is that possible?

Currently Logos does not display the layout name - people have asked for this but no commitment from Logos to deliver this capability

Hi
Apologies - I missed your question when responding to Mauricio.
When one uses the Passage Box, the layout which appears is the preset one to which you refer. This can't be modified.
However, what you can do is - instead of using the Passage Box - run your own Passage Guides or Exegetical guides directly from the passage you are interested in from any Bible. For examples of how to do this please see http://wiki.logos.com/Passage_Guide
Steve Clark - one of the regular forum contributors - has come up with a way to generate a floating layout of your design as documented at http://wiki.logos.com/Creating_your_own_Custom_Go_Box. This provides a lot of flexibility and capability but involves some work.
Hope this helps - but please post back if you still have questions
I found a work around that I like that seemed easier to me. It's new, so I may have to make modifications. I constructed the layout the way I wanted it to be. I then linked all the various parts so that they would work together. I then saved the layout. Now what I can do is open the saved layout. When I put the Bible text into either the Bible section, passage guide or exegetical guide, all the rest immediately go to that text, just as if I had typed it into the Passage Box. The process is still the same, except the steps are reversed. Instead of typing the verse in the Passage Box and then having a layout appear, I choose the layout and then put the passage into the layout. I can see some limitations with this process, but it was quick and should meet my needs. I tried the link you sent me to, but had unfavorable results and it was much more complicated.
Glad you have something that works for you.
It's new, so I may have to make modifications.
Possible modification idea: add a Bible in a different link set with send hyperlinks here, which allows a verse reference to be clicked that changes location in hyperlinked resource without causing other linked items (passage guide, exegetical guide, other Bibles to jump to new verse).
