Hi Gary, I am not sure what you are asking. But that has never stopped me from sharing what I know.
If I remember correctly (I am not at the computer with Logos installed), you can tag a commentary series. I believe that there is a setting you set that is in the area of the book's name, book's author, book's ... .
If you are using the word "series" as it relates to scripture verses like Gen 1:1-2:4, yes you can do that to,
I found out that the best way to find out what and how tags work is to make a very small test PBB to see what happens with the tags.
Is it possible to tag a series
Its pretty easy, just follow the steps below:
1. Open your Library (preferably in a floating window)
2. Click on the Info icon to open its sidebar on the right
3. Click on Series heading (if you don't see it, right-click on the heading row and in the drop down menu click to check Series). This has the Library show you all your books which are marked as Series (e.g. Commentary series)
4. Locate your series then click to expand your series, then click on a book (not on the Title or it will open that book, but on one of the other columns [e.g. the Series column to the right of the Title of the book]) a. Now on your keyboard press the key combination Ctrl + A (Logos will select all the books for that series.)
5. Now click on the add tag in the sidebar, then type in your Tag value.
P.S. make sure your desired commentary series is the ONLY series that is expanded. Otherwise Ctrl A will select it too if it is expanded.
