When a note is moved L4 M 4.5b Beta 5 leaves a permanent line within the note document.
Closing and reopening the note document will remove the line. Possibly scrolling down a screen and back may remove the line, but this document does not have enough notes to try this.
Believe this problem has a long history, but have not seen it written up previously.

Does this happen for you anytime you move a note? I'm not able to reproduce the issue, so I'm wondering if there are other factors at play.

I believe so. Will make other experiments later today
Tonya J Ross: I'm not able to reproduce the issue
Interesting. I am using Mac OS 10.5.8 if that makes any difference. Will try the same move in my MBP which has OS 10.6.8

Perhaps some logs will give a clue. Will give that a shot.
UPDATE:
With logging enabled, found it much more difficult to get a persistent line. The only reliable method was to create a new note with the Add Note button. The line would then remain. Dragging the note back to the bottom would then cause the line to disappear. Don't know if the logs will show anything, but here they are.

Created a highlight note from "Discourse Grammar of the Greek New Testament: A Practical Introduction…". Moved the note from the bottom of the note document. The persistent line reappeared and could not be removed by changing panes or by hiding the notes grammar. Closed and reopened the pane, and the line disappeared. These logs are prior to closing and reopening the pane.

Let me know if you need any additional information.
I will pass your logs on to Development; I still can't reproduce it, but there are lots of errors in your log. I'll let you know if they ask for any further information.
EDIT: I can reproduce the issue in 10.5.8. Thanks for that info.
Tonya J Ross:I can reproduce the issue in 10.5.8.
Thank you for that confirmation. Perhaps I can move up to 10.6 as later versions are not compatible with many applications on my machine.
