Somehow I suspect this isn't what they read in Catholic Masses today:
Mac Mini late 2010 8GB RAM 10.6.8
That's the abbreviated version for the priest on the run ... hospital call to make sounds like a good excuse for using the abbreviated version
Seriously, it appears when the Missal provides a text without a Bible citation.
Logos4catholics Orthodox Bishop Hilarion Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."
This happened again today, for the 3rd time in a week or so, and by the look of things it won't be the last.
MJ. Smith:it appears when the Missal provides a text without a Bible citation.
Then they should just type the text in.
fgh:Then they should just type the text in.
Then we might start asking for the actual lectionary text rather than simply having the passage pulled from the translation of our choice. Then I'd end up lecturing on incipits and deixis.

Our "lectionary" is really just a table of readings. We've gotten this from the USCCB, but we haven't licensed the actual text from ICEL, so we have a gap wherever a verse can't be supplied from a scriptural reference.
So, what's you excuse for this then:
I believe it's customary for the response to be shorter than the actual psalm. It's so hard to remember otherwise.
Yes. That one is just an error. We'll fix it in the next update. Thanks.
