Dear Logos Friends,
I recently post a torrent link to about 900 Doc and rtf files.
Many thought it was eiter wrong to post or dissatisfied with the format. I have converted all the files and have reposted them on http://bighugefile.com/dl/x3458842c4 as suggested by a good fellow forum user. These files are Docx but are NOT pre-modified for PBB and do not hav e index links.
THEY NEED WORK .. Pleasse do not complain that I did not do all the work.
There is about 850+ Docx files. They make a good start to your PBB collection as is, but with a little work can be made better.
A Bruce is included in this post to see one which I added a photo and Txt to make a crude PBB as an example.
Enjoy and remember to SHARE YOUR PBB file with all.

Bob Pritchett: I just want to give a quick "heads up" about the PBB distribution terms. While you'll be able to build whatever you want with PBB, distribution will be supported via our Logos online systems. (Both from your personal page as well as from a central bookstore.) The bookstore will make it easy to share content with others, and will offer the same cloud-based downloading, syncing, multi-computer use, etc. that Logos-created books support. For this reason, though, Logos is going to have some content restrictions on the bookstore -- we aren't looking to create an editing tool, for example, that lets people create lower-quality and lower-price versions of public domain content we sell in high-quality editions, and then use our systems, servers, etc. to distribute them.

Fred, thank you for posting the files in a non-torrent version, as I think there is much beneficial information included in these texts.

I want to thank you Fred. Thank you for your continued persistence in bringing these files to Logos users. Thank you for your flexibility in showing deference to the concerns of others. Thank you for the hard work you have already done.
There is no need for apology for the raw format of the collection. This will be a good experience for many in using PBB.

Option: wiki => User Contributed Personal Books has: See below for Personal Books in Progress or Suggested/Requested that is followed by Some possible sources of texts to convert to Personal Books section that likely has source files for the 800+ docx files (downloaded from torrents web sites).
Dear Mikko, and other forum friends.I am sorry the 800+ link is down, this was a temp link. I am currently building a new site.As you may have noticed their was quit a bit of fuss about putting up files on the LOGOS FORUM which could compete with the company. As you know the company uses alot of Public Domain and Out of Print material to assure a good overhead this is Good business. Sharing docx of Public Works, Non-Copyright material or Material releaased with Authors approval is legal and even when stated to be used as PBB material IS completely within your rights. However I ask you do not post any material gathered in RAW form or the link adress for the material from me on the LOGOS Forum site since most needs some work and also I do not know when they may decided to release their own version. You may however use other site at your discression. Also as long as LOGOS does not oppose it, your finished Docx, Cover Pic and Text Infor is encouraged from myself and others. I will probably not releaase naterial in bulk form, 50 or so in each set.

Bighugefile.com links are only temporary. They are valid for 7 days from the time the files are uploaded to the site. It's a great site for sending people large files which are too large for email attachments, but it's not meant for long-term hosting, so probably not great for public posting on forums. Any links to it posted in forums are naturally not to be expected to work beyond the initial week.

Besides, the website bighugefile.com seems to have been shut down. I have no longer been able to share stuff via that, which is too bad. It was a useful site.
There's a new one called Droplr that looks pretty nice, basically equivalent functionality.
